UBelong Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using UBelong, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, agree to these terms, and have read our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

UBelong is designed for:

• Currently enrolled university and secondary school students across Africa and the diaspora
• Academic instructors and faculty members
• Verified mentors and education professionals
• Institutional partners (universities, schools, NGOs, and scholarship organizations)

Users of UBelong agree to ONLY post content that is:

• Academic, course-related, or professionally relevant to student development
• Respectful, constructive, and truthful
• Original or properly attributed to its source
• Appropriate for an academic community

The following content is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and will result in immediate account suspension:

• Hate speech, racism, tribalism, or discrimination of any kind
• Sexual, violent, or graphic content
• Bullying, harassment, or targeted abuse of any user
• Misinformation or deliberate false content
• Spam, phishing, or promotional content not approved by UBelong
• Political propaganda or divisive content unrelated to academic discourse
• Content that violates the intellectual property rights of others
• Any content that violates applicable laws in users' home countries

You retain ownership of content you post on UBelong. By posting, you grant UBelong a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform. You may delete your content at any time.

Instructors who use UBelong's Faculty Launch Wizard and course tools agree to:

• Only post verified academic materials
• Not charge students fees outside of UBelong's approved payment system
• Maintain professional conduct with students
• Respect student privacy at all times

UBelong collects only the data necessary to operate the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy at ubelong.app/privacy.

UBelong offers offline functionality. Content cached for offline use must not be redistributed or shared outside the platform without permission from the original creator.

UBelong reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms. Users may appeal a suspension via our contact form within 14 days.

UBelong and Tokpah Global LLC are not liable for user-generated content, third-party links, or any indirect damages arising from platform use.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia and the applicable local laws of the country in which each user resides or accesses the platform. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or competent courts in the user's home jurisdiction, as applicable.
