UBelong is an academic community. These guidelines summarize our Acceptable Use Policy so you know what to expect — and what we expect from you.
What belongs on UBelong
- Academic, course-related, and professional content
- Respectful, constructive, and truthful discussion
- Original work — or content properly attributed to its source
- Material appropriate for an academic community
What is not allowed
Posting any of the following will result in immediate suspension:
- Hate speech, racism, tribalism, or discrimination
- Sexual, violent, or graphic content
- Bullying, harassment, or targeted abuse
- Misinformation or deliberate falsehoods
- Spam, phishing, or unapproved promotion
- Political propaganda unrelated to academic discourse
- Intellectual property violations
- Content that breaks laws in your home country
Reporting & moderation
Every post, comment, and profile has a Report option. Use it whenever you see something that doesn't belong. Content flagged by multiple users is automatically hidden pending review. You can appeal moderation decisions via our contact form.
